Naar aanleiding van het bezoek van Erwin in Malawi in het voorjaar zijn we met ingang van het 3e kwartaal begonnen met het helpen van 8 kinderen in Malawi op gebied van onderwijs. We hopen dat met behulp van gulle gevers in de toekomst we dit aantal kunnen uitbreiden. Een klein bedrag van slechts 10 euro per kwartaal (40 euro per jaar) per kind maakt een groot verschil in het leven van een kind en zijn/haar gezin.  

 Van onze partners in Kenia: A REPORT ON CHARITY VISIT TO PARADISE CHILDREN’S HOME ~ Kibra Child aid & Dev conducted a charity activity on 4 th June 2022 where they mentored and distributed foodstuffs and toiletry to orphans in Kibra ~ Nairobi county. The home was founded in the year 2002 by the patron’s mother who passed away last year during the pandemic. The home provides shelter to 47 children most of who are orphaned. Others found their way to the home as a result of parents’ negligence.   We arrived at the home where we conducted cleaning exercises, cooked, fed the kids, and talked to them. We were accompanied by members of the School of Engineering from the Technical University of Kenya and The Platform Org.   Both with clothing for the kids and gave us moral support. One main of the challenge facing the home was inadequate cereals. Also talking to the kids, they pointed out that most lack inadequate stationeries (books and pens) for their education....
